GAMBARAN PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN MOBILITAS FISIK PADA PASIEN SNH DI RUANGAN PENYAKIT DALAM III RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH ENDE

Abstract

Stroke is a problem that needs special attention because stroke can cause death and disability due to nerve damage. Nerve damage because it requires freedom to move at the level of individual needs and this requires nursing care in the form of passive and active mobilization to increase self-independence. The purpose of the study was to research the fulfilment of physical needs in SNH patients.
Type of descriptive case study research. The research subjects in two SNH patients who corrected the problem of meeting the needs of physical mobility with the same level of trust, namely partial care. The place/location that requires this case study was Indoor Disease III Ende Regional Hospital on 11-13 July 2017. The results of the study prove how respondents increase hemiparesis, which is stiffness and weakness in the limbs making it difficult to make movements or mobilization. Strategies for fulfilling physical mobility in respondents were carried out with passive ROM and active ROM. The impact of these physical mobility control measures is that respondents increase work motivation because ROM is done well and optimally. Conclusions about physical mobility in SNH patients include overcoming stiffness and weakness in the limbs that improve hemiparesis, difficulty in changing sleep positions, getting out of bed, sitting, opening and walking. It is expected that SNH patients and families always take physical mobility to form passive and active ROM at home, so that they can increase strengths that increase weaknesses, and it is also expected that families will always provide support and motivation to patients in doing ROM.
